US Economy Update: Stocks, Crypto, and The Fed
Nick Hopwood, CFP® of Peak Wealth joined The Steve Gruber Show to discuss how the markets are performing well as we move into what has historically been the best six months of the year. From May to November the market has risen about 20 percent and remains strong even as some areas like Bitcoin, crypto, and gold have recently decreased. Nick and Steve talked about how the economy is still sorting itself out but overall sentiment remains positive. They also noted that the Federal Reserve has cut rates at market highs 21 times since 1950 and in every one of those cases the market was higher a year later. While a correction could happen, the outlook remains encouraging.
