Starting Net Worth: -$14,361
October started with the surprise 6th anniversary trip to Indianapolis with my girlfriend which is a trip she still raves about to this day (it works to travel at a discount)! Most of the cost of the trip was paid in September, but things like gas and food were paid for during this month. As always, I continued getting my entire 401k match by contributing 4% to my Roth 401k, and continued to max out my Roth IRA with an $850 contribution. My cryptocurrency also got a nice pop in October and I started thinking about taking the profits and reinvesting elsewhere. Spoiler alert: I should have sold, and I’ll share more about why in my February, 2022 post. During the month my total expenses came to $1,676.01.
