August was a pretty lowkey month for me mostly because I had thrown myself into work and studying for the upcoming CFP® exam. The major expense for the month was registering for the exam which cost about $800. I continued chugging along with contributing 4% to my Roth 401k, contributing $850 to my Roth IRA, and paying down my car loan. My total expenses for the month outside of exam registration came to $1,457.62. Within my personal expense and net worth tracking spreadsheet I also established a formula to devalue my car over time. After all, we all know that most cars only depreciate. The road to a $0 net worth continued.
