Starting Net Worth: $90
April, 2022 is the month I asked my girlfriend’s dad for his blessing, and placed the order to buy an engagement ring for her. The rest of the month was smooth sailing from a cash flow perspective, and my expenses totaled $2,587.06. From a net worth perspective, I moved the entire Coinbase account to my bank in anticipation of paying for the engagement ring in May. Additionally, my girlfriend and I opened a joint bank account together so we could use it to pool some of our monthly paychecks and use this account for rent which was our first step towards combining finances. Unfortunately, the stock market didn’t cooperate (which became a theme throughout 2022) and my net worth dropped back into the negatives.
