May was a return to normalcy as we didn’t have nearly as many life events occurring all at once compared to April. The primary focus of the month was on continuing to get the other side of the duplex ready for rent, which included finishing up the deep clean/repainting as well as adding gutters to the property. Once all of this was completed, we listed the unit as available for rent and began to give tours, but unfortunately did not have any takers this month. Outside of our new real estate endeavor, all of our systematic savings to the 401k continued, as did our plan to pile up the bank account with the wedding now just 3 months away.
