June marked an exciting milestone as we began receiving RSVPs for our wedding which was just two months away now! At the same time, we stayed focused on building our savings to cover the final wedding expenses coming up in July.
On the financial front, the stock market continued its upward momentum as it bounced back from the 2022 bear market. We’ve been intentional about investing as much as possible while we’re young, and it’s encouraging to see those efforts paying off.
The highlight of the month for me was reaching a full year of tracking our net worth and expenses as a household. Seeing our net worth grow by over $22,000 year-over-year is a powerful reminder of what consistency in saving and investing can achieve, especially during this season of life when we have the flexibility to be aggressive about our financial goals.
