We can all look back and remember the days when money was tight (or maybe it still feels that way). During college or early in our career we regularly made sacrifices so we could get by. As our income increases, we tend to get more and more comfortable spending money on the extras in an attempt to add convenience to our lives. Often times seemingly small purchases can lead to greater future spending which can become our new normal and lead us toward “lifestyle creep.”
